Late Seating
Guests arriving late will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager. To limit audience distraction, late arrivals may be required to wait outside the outdoor performance space until they can be seated during an appropriate pause in the performance. Late arrivals are not guaranteed their ticketed seat assignments. Arriving at least 15 minutes early to a performance is highly recommended.Ticket Exchanges
The Hangar Theatre does not issue refunds for any ticket purchases. Ticket purchasers are encouraged to carefully review the details of their order before proceeding with their purchase. Exchanges may be requested up to 24 hours before the event, for a $7 fee and subject to availability. Exchange fees are waived for subscribers; learn more at www.hangartheatre.org/subscriptions.Weather Policy
Most often the show will go on, and depending on the severity of the weather, will be performed as scheduled. The Hangar Theatre encourages all patrons to dress for potential weather changes and temperatures, as our indoor theatre is often chilly year-round and our outdoor seating is not covered. Umbrellas may not be opened in the audience seating areas. If the weather may cause a safety risk, the performance may be delayed for up to an hour before there is a decision to cancel or continue. The decision to delay will be communicated ASAP via e-mail to ticket holders, and will be posted on the Hangar Theatre website and social media pages.
Postponement Policy
If a performance is postponed, tickets will be held and valid for the new dates once announced. If ticket holders cannot attend the adjusted dates, refunds will be provided in the form of a credit on their Hangar Theatre account for the price of their ticket(s) (excluding ticket processing fees) that can be used toward the purchase of any future Hangar Theatre Company performance, subject to seating availability.
Cancellation Policy
If a performance is cancelled prior to the start of show, ticket holders will receive a credit on their Hangar Theatre account for the price of their ticket(s) (excluding ticket processing fees) that can be used toward the purchase of any future Hangar Theatre Company performance, subject to seating availability; credits are valid for 1 year. After a year has passed from the date of the cancelled performance, your ticket purchase will be converted into a tax-deductible donation in support of the Hangar’s artistic and educational programs. Decisions about cancellations will be communicated ASAP via e-mail to ticket holders, and will be posted on the Hangar Theatre website and social media pages. Please check frequently for updates.
If a delay or cancellation is needed during a performance, theatre staff will communicate that decision to the audience at the show. No exchanges or refunds will be granted to patrons if the first act (or one hour) is completed before a cancellation. Patrons who would like to attend the performance in its entirety at a later date, are encouraged to purchase Pay What You Will tickets HERE.
