(Pay) What You Will tickets are available for every performance in 2021!

This program gives patrons the option to choose a ticket price within their means. The goal in this program is to give everyone in our community the opportunity to enjoy our exciting outdoor theatre this year!

(Pay) What You Will tickets must be reserved in advance, to purchase e-mail boxoffice@hangartheatre.org or call (607)273-2787. The Hangar Theatre’s commitment to accessibility is supported in part by the Park Foundation and Stumbar Parks & Salk, LLP.

Student Discounts

$20 student tickets are available for any 2021 Mainstage performance for Middle School, High School, and College students. These tickets can be purchased online, or by phone at (607)273-2787(ARTS).


Subscribe to the entire summer season and save big! More info.

  • Mainstage Subscription – $185. Designed for the devoted theatre-lover. This subscription includes one ticket to each of the five Mainstage productions.
  • *NEW* Young Adult Subscription – $100. Designed for students and young professionals under 30 to experience a full slate of theatre performances at a reduced cost. This subscription includes one ticket to each of the five Mainstage productions, and guarantees you the best seats available. See all subscriber perks at hangartheatre.org/subscriptions
  • KIDDSTUFF Subscription – $40. This subscription includes one ticket to each of the four KIDDSTUFF shows for any age!

TCPL: the Tompkins County Public Library will have 2 Hangar passes that patrons may can check out for a week. During that week, patrons can use the pass to  receive up to four tickets for any show occurring during that week, pending availability. For more information or to see if this pass is available, please contact TCPL.  


Pay It Forward Fund

New to non-profit and community organizations, the Pay It Forward fund grants complimentary tickets to community members who would not otherwise be able to attend. These tickets are funded by generous donors to the Pay It Forward fund. If you belong to a group or organization that could benefit from this program, e-mail groups@hangartheatre.org

Group Rates

Group tours can include theatre tickets, a private reception on our covered patio, recommendations to the area’s finest restaurants and hotels, even talkbacks with the cast from the show. We can customize packages that are right for your group. More info.


Scholarships are available for all Hangar Theatre education programs. These include our Lab Company, Next Generation School of Theatre, and Break-a-Leg programs.
