  • Concessions Manager

    The Concessions Manager is responsible for running the concessions bar at all Hangar Theatre Company performances and events held at the Hangar Theatre, which includes serving customers, managing sales transactions through Square, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar. This position fosters relationships with vendors/distributors and purchases all food and drink products for the Hangar Theatre. The Concessions Manager works alongside the Audience Services Manager to inventory product and make adjustments to the concessions menu. Must complete TIPS training upon hiring (if not already completed). Restaurant experience preferred.

    Rate: $15

    (summer: 30-40 hrs; fall-spring: 20 hrs)

  • Primary Box Office

    The Primary Box Office is trained thoroughly with the Hangar Theatre’s ticketing system, Easy-Ware. They are responsible for managing online, phone, and in-person ticket sales, checking in patrons for performances, completing shift reports, providing customer service, and supporting the other Front of House staff on duty in preparation for a show. During the summer, the Primary Box Office typically works Tuesday through Sunday for all Mainstage performances; additional non-show shifts are possible. Box office experience preferred.

    Rate: $12.50

    (summer: 30-40 hrs; fall-spring: as needed)

  • Primary House Manager

    The Primary House Manager is responsible for maintaining communication with Stage Management throughout the performance to manage opening doors, curtain holds, intermission lengths, etc. They supervise ushers and convey show-specific information at the start of each shift. The Primary House Manager completes performance reports, maintains the cleanliness of the lobby, restrooms, and outdoor seating, and is responsible for collecting trash/recycling at the end of each performance. During the summer, the Primary House Manager typically works Tuesday through Sunday for all Mainstage performances.

    Rate: $12.50

    (summer: 30-40 hrs; fall-spring: 10 hrs)

  • Front of House Associate

    A Front of House Associate is trained in basic responsibilities of all three areas of Front of House (concessions, house management, and box office). Front of House Associates often work KIDDSTUFF shows (morning performances) and fill in as needed for other performances.

    Rate: $12.50
