The 2026 KIDDSTUFF Summer Series

The Probably Improbable Adventures of Robin Hood

May 14–17, 2026

By Colin Smith

Step into Sherwood Forest for the legend of Robin Hood like never before! In The Probably Improbable Adventures of Robin Hood, Robin and Marian form an unlikely partnership that shouldn’t work but somehow does, as clever ideas, daring antics, and an occasional puppet send the story careening through comic chaos. Expect quick wit, fast-paced fun, and a story that just barely stays on track—if the storytellers can keep up.

The Tales of Custard the Dragon

July 10–12, 2026

Book Adapted by Mary Hall Surface
from the stories by Ogden Nash
Music by Brad Ross
Lyrics by Danny Whitman

Custard is an anxious dragon whose friends – a dog, a cat, and a little gray mouse – mock his nervous nature in this charming family musical based on the work of the beloved American poet Ogden Nash. When a pirate bursts into their home, the others hide, but Custard bravely confronts the invader, revealing his true strength and showing everyone that real courage can come from the most unexpected places.

Finding Nemo

July 24–27, 2026

Book, Music & Lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez
Book Adapted by Lindsey Anderson
Music and Orchestrations Adapted and Arranged by Myrna Conn

In the musical adaptation of the beloved film, overly-protective clownfish dad Marlin searches desperately for little Nemo, who has been captured by a scuba diver and imprisoned in a fish tank in Australia. As father and son battle danger and fear to reunite, they meet wonderful friends who help them go with the flow and keep on swimming, no matter how dark the journey seems.
