Accommodations and Accessibility

Accessible Parking & Restrooms

Accessible parking is designated near the Hangar Theatre entrance, which opens directly to the lobby.  There are wheelchair-accessible restrooms on the same floor, as well as a private restroom available for patrons who require assistance.

Wheelchair Accessible Seating

All front row (row A) seats are designated as wheelchair accessible and are reached via a ramp. You may transfer into a theatre seat with the help of a companion, or request to have a theatre seat removed to remain in your wheelchair. Please let the box office know your preferences when purchasing your tickets. If you choose to transfer to a seat, an usher will store your wheelchair or walker and return it as needed during intermission or the end of the performance.

Companion Tickets

Patrons who need an accessible seat may purchase one companion seat. Wheelchair and companion seats are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be sure to inform the Box Office representative of your seating needs when purchasing tickets.

Assistive Listening

The Hangar is equipped with a special sound system for the hearing impaired.  Receivers and headphones are available at the Box Office free of charge; a photo ID is required as security.

Sensory Sensitive Performances

Designed for families who may have members requiring a lower sensory experience, one KIDDSTUFF performance will present the show with the many sensory needs of our audience in mind. Additional supports* for attendees will be available including noise reducing headphones and ear plugs, weighted lap pads, and fidgets. Performance is free, but RSVP is requested.

*These items are available for use at any Hangar Theatre production. Simply ask at the Box Office.

Service/Guide Animals

Trained service dogs are welcome and must rest in your seating area during the performance.  Please let us know if you are bringing a service dog when purchasing tickets. Other animals will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
