Sound
The Sound Shop is located under the house right seating section of the theatre. Storage for all sound needs is here, as well as the sound repair facilities. There is a basic speaker plot hung to cover the audience and then supplemented as needed. Sound is responsible for all reinforcement (all mainstage and KIDDSTUFF shows are mic’ed), backstage audio monitoring, crew communications, cue playback, and any video needs (such as conductor cam for musicals). The shows are mixed on a Yamaha M7CL with an iMac for Qlab playback. The sound department is responsible for any and all sound needs for the shows, 18 in all.
