Adam has been with the Hangar since 1996, throughout which he has served a variety of roles including Production Manager (since 1997); Technical Director on numerous Mainstage, KIDDSTUFF, and School Tour productions; and Project Manager for the 2009-2010 renovation. Away from the Hangar, Adam has been the Technical Director with various companies including Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Pirate Playhouse, Music Theatre North, CBT Productions, Kitchen Theatre, Delaware Theatre Company and the University at Albany. While at UAlbany, Adam was an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Theatre where he taught a variety of technical theatre classes. He has been the Production Manager for Playwright’s Horizons Theatre School and the Pirate Playhouse, as well as a Project Manager for Quinlan Scenic Studios and a draftsman for Adirondack Scenic Studios. Adam has presented workshops/masterclasses related to helping current college students get started in technical theatre (resume and cover letter writing, portfolio creation, and interviewing skills) both nationally and regionally at USITT, SETC, Ithaca College, UAlbany, and Kent State. Adam holds an MFA in Technical Direction from the University of Connecticut and a BA in theatre from Bucknell University. Love to Renee, Taryn and Genevieve.
