The Prop Department works out of the scene shop, which is shared with carpentry and paint.  The Scene Shop is located in a separate building next door to the theatre (about 12’-0” away).  One corner of the shop is setup as a prop craft area and there are lofts on 3 walls for prop storage.  There is also a prop storage room in the theatre building itself. The shop has all of the major stationary power tools and 2 flux core welders.  Each summer there is usually a good variety of building/creating props vs buying/altering props. The prop department is responsible for propping all of the shows each summer, 14 total.
