Saturday, October 19 at 3 pm & 7:30 pm

The Ithaca premiere of Hansel and Gretel will highlight the Ithaca Ballet’s Fall children’s performance.  Choreographed by Lavinia Reid with music by Engelbert Humperdinck, the Grimm’s well known fairytale in ballet form tells the story of a brother and sister wandering in the forest, encountering an evil witch and her enchanted gingerbread house.

The second half of the program is Peter and the Wolf, music by Serge Prokofiev and narrated by Peter Ustinov.
