What was your journey to Ithaca? Like Odysseus, did you have barriers in your way? Were the sirens calling you? In The Journey Home: An Epic Simile, the Senior Troupe of Lifelong, in collaboration with the Hangar Theatre and The Cherry Arts, explores themes of our journey home. Watch troupe members perform stories from their lives based on The Odyssey!

Troupe members include Director Sue Perlgut, Patricia Frazier, Emily Johnson, Paula Twomey, Carol Santucci, Michael Schaff & Jean Senegas.

What if it rains?

Depending on the severity of the weather, we may cancel or delay a performance. Please check your this page for the most up-to-date information. The Hangar encourages all patrons to dress for potential weather changes and temperatures, as our outdoor seating is not covered. Umbrellas may not be opened in the audience seating areas. We recommend bringing clothing layers including a jacket with hood, rain boots, and bug spray for exposed skin. You may choose to bring blankets and seat cushions.

The Senior Troupe of Lifelong presents Living History Theatre, which they have been performing for more than 22 years. The Living History theatre is developed from themes that the actors pick and the stories they tell are from their lives which feature stories that are both humorous and serious. Past themes have been about clothing, travel, money, winter, movies, and women in their lives. The players are the characters, the scenery, and the props. This is their first community collaboration with the Hangar Theatre and The Cherry Arts.
