9/23: Joanna Lynne Staub – Sound Designer. Joanna is a NYC-based Sound Designer and Audio Engineer. Design Work: ACT of CT, Alliance Theatre, Ensemble Studio Theatre, 5th Avenue Theatre, 59E59, Goodman Theatre, Hangar Theatre Company, Kansas City Rep, La Jolla Playhouse, The Nashville Children’s Theatre, New York Musical Theatre Festival, New York Theatre Workshop, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, The Public Theatre, Seattle Rep, Steppenwolf Theatre, Tuachan Center for the Arts, and The WP Theatre. She has extensive credits associate designing and engineering Broadway Shows and National Touring Companies: Angels in America, Sweat, The Color Purple, Constellations, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, End of the Rainbow, Promises Promises, Jerusalem, Exit the King, The Seagull, August: Osage County, Les Miserables, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and Saturday Night Fever. She has served as Sound Designer and Audio Engineer at classical concert events for the St. Louis, New Jersey and Chicago Symphony Orchestras as well as an Assistant Head of Audio at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Lincoln Center Festival, Spoleto Festival and the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. TV Credits: audio engineering for the NBC-Live! Productions of The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, and The Wiz, the 59th & 60th Annual TONY Awards, the Summer Concert Series at Good Morning America and The Today Show, as well as mixing several Puppy Bowls for The Animal Planet. She has lectured Sound Design and Audio Engineering at I.C., Princeton University, University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, SUNY Albany, and Lebanon Valley College.
