MaryBeth Bunge returned to the Hangar Theatre management team in October, 2017; she had previously served as the Hangar’s Development Director throughout the Hangar for All Season’s Campaign, (2007-2011) which resulted in the opening of the renovated year-round theatre. She has held a range of leadership positions in non-profit organizations including Director of the NYS CDFI Coalition, Development Director for Alternatives Impact and Director of Communications for Cornell University Libraries.  She taught Fundraising in the Performing Arts for seven years in Ithaca College’s Theatre Arts Management program and served as a fund-raising consultant for numerous local non-profits.  Trained in acting and directing at Macalester College, MaryBeth honed her performance skills as a musician instead of an actor in punk, new wave and folk ensembles in Minneapolis MN and Columbus OH.  MaryBeth is a singer and Board member with The Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English/Theatre (Macalester College), an M.S. in Textiles & Clothing (Miami University) and a Master of Library Science (Kent State University).
